Our non executive Directors
We are grateful to our non executive directors, Shadd and Rob, for their guidance and academic input which underpins much of our work.
Dr Shadd Maruna
Dr. Shadd Maruna is a Professor and Chair of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology at the University of Liverpool.
His research explores issues of desistance and pathways away from prison, and includes research on community attitudes regarding people who have been in prison; and efforts by former prisoners to politically organise and build a social movements.
Professor Rob Ralphs
Rob is a Professor of Criminology and Social Policy. He has 15 years experience of research and lecturing in the areas of substance misuse, youth crime, violent crime, gangs, criminal justice policy and criminological theory.
